Veterans in the Square Mile

Quarterly Networking Event

Chicago Booth

Following a successful launch, the City of London Corporation and City Veterans CIC are pleased to host the second Veterans in the Square Mile networking event, supported by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Connect with fellow veterans and reservists from City workplaces over light refreshments. Attendees will also hear from Chicago Booth MBA alumna Miranda Mallows about her transition from the Royal Air Force into a career in the City.

This event is open to veterans and reservists working in the Square Mile, as well as those involved in colleague wellbeing or access to talent.

Registration is required and spaces are limited.

Veterans in the Square Mile is a new City Belonging Network, bringing together veterans and reservists from workplaces across the Square Mile.

This is part of a wider family of City Belonging Networks launched as part of Lord Mayor Alastair King’s mayoral year, and in collaboration with City Veterans CIC. This network brings together veterans and reservists at Square Mile workplaces to:

  • Create and promote opportunities for the community to meet one another through events and activities, and feel a sense of belonging.

  • Support the City of London Corporation and other City institutions to be the best possible ally to the community.

  • Promote engagement from the veteran and reservist community in the civic and cultural life of the Square Mile.
