Senior Administrator

  • Location: City of London (Square Mile)

  • Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

  • Hours: 20 hours

  • Remuneration: £30,000 FTE per annum (£15,000 at 2.5 FTE on a consultancy basis)

  • Term: One-year renewable, subject to funding.

About Faith in The City

Faith in The City is a multifaith chaplaincy and religious literacy initiative serving the Square Mile. We work with businesses, faith communities and civic partners to foster belonging, pastoral care and religious literacy across the City of London.

Purpose

The Senior Administrator provides the administrative support to the COO and wider leadership team in delivering the Faith in The City chaplaincy, programmes, events, communications and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the FiTC leadership team.

  • Coordinate meetings, diaries, governance and project administration.

  • Organise events, training sessions and stakeholder meetings.

  • Maintain databases, records and organisational systems.

  • Draft professional correspondence and reports.

  • Support communications, website and social media updates.

  • Act as the first point of contact for partners and enquiries.

  • Support fundraising administration, monitoring and impact reporting.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

  • Experience supporting senior leaders in a complex organisation.

  • Strong IT Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to work with confidential information.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal diplomatically with a wide range ofstakeholders

  • Experience of the City of London, business and/or faith organisations.

  • Experience supporting events and communications.

  • Knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion in relation to faith and belief.

  • Ability to multitask and thrives under pressure
