ACCESSIBILITY IN THE CITY
Breakfast Event

To mark the week of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the City of London Corporation, in partnership with Google and Framestore, will be delivering a breakfast event to discuss accessibility in the City of London.

This event is open to all City of London workplaces, their disability networks and interested organisations. It will be an opportunity to discuss what changes are needed in public and private spaces to be more inclusive to the needs of people with disabilities.

Speakers will include Shravan Joshi, Chairman of the City of London Planning & Transportation Committee, who will outline the City Corporation’s work to ensure everyone can travel across the Square Mile easily and confidently - and Christopher Patnoe and Katya Makarova, Head of Accessibility and Disability Inclusion and Partnerships Lead at Google, who will discuss initiatives to help workplaces showcase their accessibility information for staff and customers.

The event will be an opportunity to talk about successes, challenges and how we can empower one another to make the Square Mile and our workplaces more accessible. As an interactive discussion, we would welcome any contributions you or your organisation might have - please let us know if you’d like to showcase something you’ve worked on.

As there is a limited number of places for this session, please RSVP by 3rd December. A free breakfast will be provided from 8.30am, with the event itself beginning at 9am. It will also be possible to join the event online. If you have any questions, please contact andrea.larice@cityoflondon.gov.uk

REGISTRATION TO ATTEND THIS EVENT IN PERSON IS NOW CLOSED - BUT ONLINE ATTENDANCE IS STILL POSSIBLE.
