Queer History Walking Tour - Culture Mile (Copy)

  • City of London Corporation Moorgate London, England United Kingdom (map)

Exploring the winding streets of this unique corner of The City of London, we discover gay bars from the 1700’s, scandalous ancient cruising grounds, the secrets of queer life in Roman times, plus the many contributions the LGBTQ+ community make to the contemporary city today.

Just 10 years since the first same-sex marriage in the UK, and in this moment of increased debate and tension around queer and gender issues, Pride 2024 offers an opportunity to reflect on the many achievements of the LGBTQ+ community and the new challenges ahead.

Tour led by curator and performer Mark T Cox of Stumble London Tours.
