Queer History of Fleet Street Walking Tour

  • 7 Ludgate Circus London, England, EC4Y 1DE United Kingdom (map)

Join us to celebrate Pride Month 2024 and explore the Queer history of Fleet Street in this walking tour with guide Martin Murtagh.

We’ll discover cross dressing pickpockets, Fleet Street’s first transgender journalist, as well as a nun who could turn water into beer!

Martin will also take a look at the treatment of the Queer community by the British press in the 1980s. This free lunchtime tour will run from 12pm – 1pm and will meet at Ludgate Circus.
